"CHANGE!"
The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of opportunity in America. Her brown skin of copper, equivalent to 30 million pennies, or "change," has oxidized to a blue/green patina. Her right foot is raised as if she is continuously on the move, caught forever in the moment of helping others to be free. Like the suffragettes who rallied around her, before they were able to vote, we today hope that "Liberty" will empower us to fight for new ways. Whether we are marching for women's rights or our own rights
