Paulette

I am a progressive graphic artist. The computer is my medium. I draw on it, using a mouse. With infinite tools available to me, I am able to "digitally" make my original creative ideas materialize.

I was inspired by an article in Newsweek that read, "throw away your paintbrushes, you're electronic now!"

The stylized circle of the Mandala enables me to tell a never - ending story.

Mandalas are circles of belief. They offer meditation and a calming effect. Looking into the artwork, the viewer always discovers more to see.

My first body of work deals with the Jewish Holidays and Festivals. In this ongoing body of work, using symbols and geometric shapes, I am able to represent my interpretations of the Holidays.

Concurrently, I am also working on another body of work  called "The Ladies," dealing with feminism and women's issues.

My work has been widely exhibited and juried into many group shows, where I have achieved awards.

Studied painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, fiber at Barat College, Lake Forest, IL and received a certificate in Web Page Design, Oakton College, Des Plaines, IL.
